Roasted Turkey with Lemon, Honey and Thyme

Servings: 4 (solely from the breast)
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: about 5 hours

Level of difficulty: Very easy
The leftovers may be frozen.

Ingredients

1 5-kg “Cook from Frozen” Seasoned Exceldor Turkey
The juice from 2 lemons, cut into quarters

Glaze

cup of honey
3 tbs. of butter
The juice from 2 lemons
1 tbs. of dried thyme
2 tbs. of soya sauce

1. Place all the glaze ingredients in a saucepan and heat over medium heat for about 10 minutes.

2. Cook the Seasoned Exceldor Turkey as indicated on the packaging.

3. Use a pastry brush to brush the lemon quarters with the glaze. Place lemons around the turkey 2 hours before the end of the cooking time.

4. Starting halfway through the cooking time, brush the turkey 2 to 3 times with the remaining glaze.

5. Take a bite of a honey-glazed lemon quarter with a piece of turkey and its cooking juices to see just how delicious this recipe is!
