Turkey Linguini with Bacon and Oka Cheese

Level of difficulty: Easy

Do not freeze the linguini. It may be refrigerated up to 3 days.

Ingredients

1 lb. (450 g) of pieces of turkey wings, drumsticks and breast
1 box of linguini (Barilla or Del Verde), cooked
2 tbs. of sunflower oil
9 slices of bacon, diced and fried
1 onion, cut into small dices
1 red sweet pepper, cut into small dices
of pieces of Cortland apples
1 cup of 15% cooking cream
cup of Oka cheese, grated

1. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, brown onions and peppers in a bit of oil.

2. Add pieces of turkey and fried, diced bacon. Cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes.

3. Add grapes, cream and cheese. Simmer until reduced to desired consistency and pour over pasta.
