Ingredients
1 lb. (400 g) of pieces of turkey legs and breast1. In a food processor, mix the cheese and cream to obtain a slightly grainy paste. Over medium heat, brown the pieces of turkey in butter for 2 to 3 minutes. Add maple syrup. Cook an additional few minutes or until meat caramelizes.
2. Lay out the puff pastry sheets and cut into 3'' x 3'' squares. On each square, deposit about 1 teaspoon of cheese and cream mixture and 1 teaspoon of turkey mixture. Brush the border and fold the pastry sheet in half. Groove the border with a fork. Brush the top of the pastry with egg yolks. Bake in a preheated oven at 177°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes.

This caramelized turkey and cheese in puff pastry recipe is very easy to prepare and is always a success. It can be prepared in advance and baked at the last minute. Imagine spreading this mixture on a baguette slightly toasted in the oven. So delicious!
