Turkey with Porto
and Cranberry Stuffing

Servings: 4 (remove from the breast four 250-g or ½-lb. portions)
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 4 to 5 hours
Level of difficulty: Easy

The leftover turkey and stuffing may be frozen.

Ingredients

5-kg “Cook from Frozen” Seasoned Exceldor Turkey

Glaze

3 tbs. of prepared mustard
3 tbs. of molasses
3 tbs. of ketchup
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 tsp. of tabasco

Stuffing

4 portions of mild Italian sausage meat
5 tbs. of dried cranberries
4 tbs. of cranberry juice
4 oz. of porto
4 tbs. of Italian breadcrumbs
2 tbs. of dried thyme
To taste: salt and pepper

1. In a bowl, combine all of the stuffing ingredients and form into small, evenly-sized balls. Place them around the turkey 2 hours before the end of the cooking time.

2. Place the seasoned Exceldor turkey in a broil pan and roast as directed on the packaging.

3. Combine all of the glaze ingredients. Starting halfway through the cooking time, brush 2 to 3 times with glaze.

4. Serve the stuffing balls with small pieces of turkey and the cooking juice.
